Summary

The International Senior Marketing Manager is an experienced consumer marketer who leads the planning and execution of consumer and trade driven promotional tactics for the Tampico Brand around the world. The Senior Marketing Manager will ensure consistency and alignment with Tampico’s brand standards, brand strategy, and the individual countries’ business plans while also securing alignment with the sales leadership and in-country teams. This position reports to the V.P. of International Sales.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining current consumer insights, market highlights, segmentation and competitive analysis
  • Lead promotional tactics that support the Brand’s needs, consumer benefits and product offerings/opportunities. Influence local market activities through local market knowledge
  • Lead and manage promotions to drive brand awareness, consumer connections and sales volume
  • Lead Tampico’s marketing tactics consistent with Brand’s business model
    • Work with sales colleagues and licensee partners to coordinate and execute retailer programs
  • Use consumer and competitive knowledge to identify and build solutions for growth:
    • Understand and communicate industry, category and brand performance
  • Lead key managerial responsibilities:
    • Maintain and enhance relationships with Tampico sales organization and licensees’ Marketing teams
    • Manage budget and project timelines
    • Reporting and analysis
    • Packaging and label projects
Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required; Master’s Degree Preferred
  • 7 -10 Years of International Marketing Experience
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, presentation and organization skills
  • Project Management
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish Required)
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 40% of the time
