Responsibilities
* Provides process engineering capability for manufacturing support projects at FPP sites and within toll operations, with appropriate guidance * Contributes to the robust scale-up of manufacturing processes from laboratory and bench scale through to full-scale manufacture in FPP * Assists in the design and technical supervision of pilot plant trials and testing. * Contributes process engineering support to projects which increase manufacturing capacity, improve quality and reduce manufacturing costs at FPP sites * Contributes to the scale-up of FPP processes from lab to full manufacturing scale, working closely with colleagues in PPT, Formulation Development, and Finished Product Processing * Carries out lab and pilot plant trials and generates experimental results to support process design and equipment definition and specification * As a member of a project team delivers improvements in capacity, efficiency and quality at FPP sites through application of sound engineering knowledge
Ideal Candidate
* Working towards a University degree in Chemical Engineering or closely related discipline; Rising Junior or Higher. * Committed to Safety and Goal Zero: actions visibly demonstrate that safety of self and others always takes first priority at work * Has the ability to apply fundamental engineering knowledge across both Crop Protection and Seeds domains when required and displays a strong aptitude for learning * Is able to document key learning from pilot or manufacturing trials in a structured and concise manner * Contributes to building the capability and identity of TFPP * Prior relevant work experience in an internship is a plus. * Has demonstrated understanding of the principles of scale-up of FPP processes from laboratory to full manufacturing scale * Fluent in English: other language skills are highly valuable * Demonstrates highly-effective team working skills * Maintains a forward-looking, results-orientated focus at all times * Well-organized: prioritizes and plans own work program to make optimum use of resource * Is able to present experimental results and communicate ideas and proposals in a clear, structured and concise manner * Actively seeks opportunities to learn and grow in the role * Takes initiative, Demonstrates leadership capabilities, and can work independently with limited guidance at times * Prioritizes actions and ensures appropriate support and resources * Skillfully plans, organizes, and monitors performance to meet deadlines * Learns from failures
