Senior Graphic Web Design / Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and frame creative concepts that reflect corporate branding and creative requirements
• Apply typography, photography, color and other ingredients to create innovative visual solutions that exceed clients’ expectations and capture their brand identity in imaginative ways
• Design and develop digital advertising assets to include responsive websites, user interfaces, landing pages and emails
• Deliver high quality, responsive WordPress websites and templates leveraging HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
• Utilize current web standards to translate graphic design into functional web design that is further optimized for speed
• Create well-organized, clear source files and perform quality assurance testing on all code produced

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
• 3+ years of web development experience (agency setting preferred)
• Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite with a strong eye for design, motion and interactivity
• Experience developing in WordPress is required with strong HTML5 and CSS development skills
• Interest and experience working with creative teams with other designers, copywriters, and videographers
• Experience working with ASP.Net, Joomla and/or Drupal a plus
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must supply an online portfolio of outstanding web and interactive projects with resume
• Must be open to local travel to Chicago-area client sites
• Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer
