Microsoft Infrastructure Systems Engineer

SWC Technology Partners is searching for a full-time Microsoft Infrastructure Systems Engineer who will be responsible for the design and implementation of a variety of IT Microsoft infrastructure solutions. Typical responsibilities for this engineer will include switching, routers, deployment, virtualization, storage design and management, Microsoft suite of products and packaging deployments. A successful candidate for this position will be able to demonstrate proficiency with the implementation and support of infrastructure as well as Microsoft and other infrastructure technology solutions. This candidate will have excellent Microsoft knowledge and exhibit strong leadership, organization and communication skills.

• Design, troubleshoot and implement Microsoft and other infrastructure solutions including:
• Cisco networking experience (Switching at a minimum, firewall skills a plus)
• Active Directory infrastructure experience is required, to include design and implementation
• Virtualization experience (Hyper-V and/or VMware)
• Manage the Microsoft Suite of products to include but not limited to MS Exchange, Office 365, Systems Center, Windows Server, Skype for Business Management
• Storage design and management to include cloud storage
• General server operating system maintenance

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
• 4 - 8 years of technical experience with increasing responsibility
• Strong background in server virtualization (Hyper-V or VMware), Active Directory and networking is required; other server virtualization experience a plus
• HP 3Par, NetApp and EMC storage experience a plus
• Skype for Business, System Center, Exchange, Office 365 experience a plus
• Security assessment or cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS) experience a plus
• Experience working in a consulting environment is preferred
• Must have excellent organizational and project management skills
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be open to local travel to client sites, if needed
