Manage the activities of the inspection and quality personnel for the production areas and coordinate quality control functions of manufacturing and reporting purposes to insure that we meet IPC Quality Standards and the customer’s needs for on- time delivery.

* Quality Manager * POSITION SUMMARY * Manage the activities of the inspection and quality personnel for the production areas and coordinate quality control functions of manufacturing and reporting purposes to insure that we meet IPC Quality Standards and the customer’s needs for on- time delivery. * ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the inspection or processing of goods and confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments. * Notify supervisors and other personnel of quality issues within their area, and assist with correcting these problems in order to meet quality standards and on-time delivery goals. * Lead the department in achieving a functional Lean Manufacturing workplace. * Confer with personnel, such as management, engineering, quality control, and customers, to coordinate work activities, resolve employee grievances, and identify, review, and requisition resources needed to achieve quality and company directives. * Recommend personnel actions such as hires, promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures. * Complete required employee evaluations for subordinates in a timely manner in order to communicate successes, job-skill deficiencies, and expectations necessary for employment and advancement within the company.

* High level of computer knowledge/experience using Microsoft Windows format to be able to adapt to other programs used for this position. * Understanding customer communication and dynamics, having a strong sense of urgency to meet their needs. * Strong Leadership Skills * Have a working knowledge of Quality Methodologies. * Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand and/or sit for long periods of time. * Ability to work required overtime to support manufacturing needs and requests from our customers.
