Summary
This position is responsible for day-to-day stewardship of the global division dedicated to digital appliances. This position will report into the Associate Strategy Director.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with strategy director in developing the HQ Strategic Recommendation for client launches * Craft annual media strategy & guidelines for the client based on competitive marketplace, media trends, consumer insights, and client communication objectives * Identify innovative media campaigns based on latest media trends and award-winning case studies to share with the client and internal teams * Collaborate with Strategy team to identify and evaluate new-to-market media proposals, technology, trends for the client and internal teams * Establish media guidelines for various platforms, specifically for digital media, to distribute to Samsung Mobile the client and internal teams * Familiarize with latest research from various third party sources to align with annual strategy and media guidelines * Develop strong working relationship with partner agencies and regional offices to help create a seamless communication process * Conduct global competitive analysis for the client by reviewing, analyzing quarterly competitive and ad hoc requests * Manage global associate on a daily basis, overseeing quality and delivery of projects

Being accessible and always cognizant of improving relationships is critical * **Strategic Thinking:** Understands and actions upon client’s business objectives and chosen strategies and is capable of creating plans/tactics to move the business forward. * **Leadership and Management:** The ability to take ownership and motivate others through personal actions and work product is critical, as is a natural passion for learning via direct feedback, training, and coaching and the desire to always improve * **Media Fundamentals:** Demonstrate strong understanding of media fundamentals, including media math, target audience development, and communication goals * **Flexibility:** Able to work flexible hours given client location (Korea) * **Global:** Experience with or interest in other cultures, or living abroad * Knowledge of Korean language not required, but a plus * Experience on another Global account not required but welcome **Technical Skills** * In-depth knowledge and passion for strategy, digital, innovation, global, and analytics * High proficiency & fluency across most if not all forms of media * High attention to detail, aesthetics and creativity * PC proficiency and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office * Web 2.0: Dropbox, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Docs, etc **Required Skills** * A minimum of 4+ years of media planning experience with strong digital background * Have developed communication briefs or annual strategy with digital insights (display, social, search, mobile/ tablet)
