Technical Operations Engineer- 3rd Shift

- Trigger, monitor, and troubleshoot the initialization of the Production applications - Monitor and troubleshoot the initialization of the Staging applications - Perform various IT Infrastructure checks - Walk the datacenter to ensure all devices are operating correctly. Troubleshoot those that indicate something is wrong - Process Corporate Actions - Reconcile positions - Work with third party vendors to resolve issues - IT projects and tasks as assigned

- 1-3 years practical experience with maintaining and troubleshooting of third party and proprietary applications - Knowledge of Linux and Windows - General knowledge of networking - Able to learn, and retain what you’ve learned - Able to solve problems - Able to think independently - Able to balance multiple tasks at the same time - Customer service focused - Able to exercise good judgement with limited supervision - Work effectively alone or within a small team - SQL programming skills - Experience with installing hardware and software - Proficiency in Python or other common scripting language - Technical certifications are highly regarded - Financial industry experience or familiarity with options
