Responsibilities

Trigger, monitor, and troubleshoot the initialization of the Production applications
Monitor and troubleshoot the initialization of the Staging applications
Perform various IT Infrastructure checks
Walk the datacenter to ensure all devices are operating correctly. Troubleshoot those that indicate something is wrong
Process Corporate Actions
Reconcile positions
Work with third party vendors to resolve issues
IT projects and tasks as assigned

Ideal Candidate

1-3 years practical experience with maintaining and troubleshooting of third party and proprietary applications
Knowledge of Linux and Windows
General knowledge of networking
Able to learn, and retain what you’ve learned
Able to solve problems
Able to think independently
Able to balance multiple tasks at the same time
Customer service focused
Able to exercise good judgement with limited supervision
Work effectively alone or within a small team
SQL programming skills
Experience with installing hardware and software
Proficiency in Python or other common scripting language
Technical certifications are highly regarded
Financial industry experience or familiarity with options
