Human Resources Business Partner

Social Finance (SoFi) is a finance company that offers a range of lending and wealth management services. The company primarily caters to early-stage professionals and offers variable and fixed rate parent, personal, and MBA loans, mortgage refinancing, and more. Based in San Francisco, California, the company was founded in April 2011.

This position will also provide outstanding service to employees by building strong, collaborative relationships. This is a hands-on, solution oriented role.

* Technical knowledge of Human Resources specialties including: federal/state employment law, employee relations, organizational development, training, benefits and compensation, and payroll. * Provide employee relations support for managers and employees and respond to employee relation issues such as employee complaints. * Assures manager and employees have a basic understanding of company policies and basic supervisory practices. * Ensure successful on-boarding new employees which includes conducting on-boarding sessions to new hires to ensure a successful integration. * Responsible to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee status changes and other necessary documents and actions as part of employee lifecycle. * Advises on termination decisions to ensure appropriate processes are followed, and to minimize risk. * Review and coordinate job accommodation processes and ensure alignment with ADA, state and local compliance.

* BA/BS degree in HR Management, Business, related field or equivalent work experience required * Minimum of 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience * PHR or SHRM-CP preferred * Workday experience preferred
