Program Manager of Platform Team

As Program Manager on the Platform team, you'll be working closely with Product Managers and their cross-functional teams to effectively move projects from concept through delivery – while at the same time coordinating aspects of those projects with all external teams. You will be the knowledge keeper for all things related to the Platform program (which encompasses Slack’s public API and all aspects of our developer ecosystem) and will traffic all questions and requests.

* Cross-company communication of Platform initiatives, including project status, date changes, risks, and dependencies * Ensuring all responsible parties complete their assignments on the Kickoff, Feature Development, and Release checklists * Evaluation and management of scope changes - determining the impact to target delivery dates and assessing options for phased delivery * Representation on behalf of the Platform organization when meeting with cross-functional partners (Policy, Security, Accounts, etc.) * Identify and help build operational improvements, resulting in faster development and better insights into core team metrics * Ownership of cross-team meetings - scheduling, setting agendas, meeting preparation and documentation * Synthesizing and summarization of Slack channels owned by the Platform team * Ensure the team has everything they need to be successful in the feature development before they need to have it

* Experience in a product organization managing resources, tasks, and workflows * Proven history of shipping and managing products with cross-functional teams * BA degree or equivalent professional experience required * Background in managing software delivered across multiple platforms * Previous experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment * Ability to work independently, communicating across multiple time zones
