Vice President of Business Development

The Simplee Financial Engagement™ software platform is healthcare’s first patient engagement solution unifying hospital and physician estimates, statements, payments, and credit. Since launching its enterprise platform in 2013, Simplee now works with nearly 900 hospitals and physician groups, and 5 million patients across the US representing over $1 billion in annual payments.

Simplee is looking for a Vice President of Business Development to drive a range of the company’s strategic channel, marketing, and product partnerships. This person will have strong strategic and relationship skills what will help them prioritize opportunities and develop complex deals. Strong candidates will have technology industry deal experience, a strategic mindset and the ability to learn about a complex growing market quickly. They will be adept at communicating with executives, and senior leaders internally and externally.

* Develop strategy and prioritization for partnership approach across medical and payments ecosystem. * Develop channel and distribution partnerships as well as marketing lead gen relationships. * Negotiate complex deals and develop processes and reporting to scale partnership capability. * Identify roadmap gaps and collaborate with product team to identify product/offering partnership opportunities

* Manage deal pipeline (entire process, including negotiation and closing of complex deals with long lifecycles) * Prioritize and manage product/roadmap deals * Strategic: ownership of pipeline, relationships and strategy * Communication skills: manage executive, board and senior relationships * 10+ years of BD experience with complex deals * Technologically apt: can learn product/vertical quickly
