Industrial Designer

Signature Products Group manufactures and distributes licensed consumer products in multiple product categories.

• Works with product management to identify and incorporate trends into new and existing products.

• Provides exceptional visual communication using Sketching, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

• Incorporate market analysis and user research into compelling product designs and concepts.

• Maintains and implements the design strategy that is defined by the product development team as a whole.

• Turn concepts into specification packages which detail item measurements, design features and manufacturing requirements.

• Works with Product managers to insure proper product and graphic styling.

• Can model final designs in SolidWorks, using a general understanding of the manufacturing process.

• Resolves problems, understands the issues, uses experience and knowledge to generate solutions and/or alternatives to insure consistency and customer satisfaction.

• BA or BFA in Industrial Design

• Proficiency in CS5 – primarily Photoshop and Illustrator

• Proficiency in SolidWorks

• Strong visual communicator through sketching is a must

• Self-motivated work ethic

• Build collaborative problem solving and can take critique

• Able to enthusiastically meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Adaptable with strong multi-tasking ability

• Creative problem solving skills
