It offers Signal Fuse, a data foundation that collects and connects online and offline customer signals across devices and in real-time; and Signal Tag to manage marketing and analytics tags on website.
Summary
Signal is looking for an experienced leader for our product marketing team. As our Director of Product Marketing, you’ll be positioning our expanding portfolio of solutions globally, along with leading the charge to plan and execute our go-to-market strategies. The key to your success will be communication. We’ll be looking to you to help bring together your colleagues from across Signal to create a compelling, actionable story that transforms product features and functionalities into business-ready solutions that deliver real-world results.
Responsibilities
- Launching products – plan and manage the cross-functional launching of new features, products and solutions - Messaging – position Signal in the marketplace - Management – mentor, guide, collaborate with and provide support for our product marketing manager and other team members - Competitive analysis – lead the research to understand who’s in our space and what makes Signal different - Targeting – create product use cases and both user and buyer personas for use across marketing, sales and product development teams - Sales enablement – communicate products’ value proposition to marketing, sales, and account management teams; and develop the sales tools, training, and collateral that support Signal’s commercial efforts - Co-marketing – research, identify and prioritize our partners and partner prospects - Serving as the voice of Signal –at industry events, in publications and on our website, and to clients who will benefit from your passion and POV - Whatever else it takes – above all, you need jump in, embrace new experiences with lots of moving parts, and still have the presence of mind to have fun along the way
Ideal Candidate
- Experience. This is a senior role. You need at least five years of experience in product marketing, and 7 years (cumulatively) within the ad-tech or marketing-tech industries. Unfortunately, we cannot consider applicants without industry experience. - You have launched and driven the adoption of new ad-tech or marketing-tech products into new markets and/or expanded into existing markets - You have excellent writing and editing skills, and a passion for creating content - Huge passion for the products that drive our marketing - Phenomenal communication skills – you know how to give and receive good news, bad news, suggestions and feedback. You can convince a skeptical audience and communicate technical ideas to non-technical people - You have a gift for building consensus (and then making things happen) - You have led a team, and are a great collaborator and mentor - Ability to travel (up to 25% of the time)
