You will be working with highly motivated and extremely talented engineers on the Native Apps team in building and enhancing existing Android applications. * As a Software Engineer on the Native Apps – Android team, you will be responsible for building new as well as enhancing existing Android applications for Shutterstock. * Continually strive to improve and simplify our Android applications, and will apply your love for tackling challenging problems to solve real world problems for our fast growing mobile customer base.

* Passionate about writing and maintaining high-quality software that solves real-world meaningful problems at scale. * Experience developing, releasing and maintaining Android applications * Deep understanding of the Android SDK * Able to shepherd projects from prototype stage into production * Fluent in a few programming languages, dynamic and static * BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience * 3+ years of software development experience * Experience building as well as interacting with RESTful API
