Summary
The UC Product Manager is responsible for delivering industry leading UC monitoring solutions built upon ScienceLogic’s IT Operations Management platform. The Product Manager will engage closely with UC engineers and UC managers at current and prospective customers in gathering requirements and recommending best practices for EM7 deployments in a UC management role. The Product Manager will be an evangelist for the product, both inside and outside of ScienceLogic, and be able to clearly articulate benefits of the product as a leading solution for UC management.
Responsibilities
* Be the recognized UC go to person within the company and with our customers * Set Product Direction * Gather and analyze feedback from internal and external market sources to create user stories * Prioritize features and deliverables * Conduct business-level verification and market testing of new features * Be an expert with respect to the competition and UC best practice * Work with the development team to assist and guide detailed product design * Be an active contributor to ScienceLogic product strategy and roadmap for ScienceLogic’s IT Operations Management platform
Ideal Candidate
* BS (MS/MBA preferred) degree and minimum of five years’ experience in Cisco UC management with service provider or large enterprise environments covering a broad range of Cisco UC technologies * Advanced knowledge of Core Cisco UC Applications (Call Manager, HCS, Contact Center, Unity, IM and Presence Server, Contact Center, Expressway, Conductor, etc.) * Understanding of the UC market and ability to create business cases for attacking other segments/vendors in the UC market * Good working knowledge of all APIs used for monitoring Cisco UC applications * Be able to lead and drive a team of developers to realize your product vision * Previous experience in being a Product Owner/Product Manager using Agile * Can do attitude and ability to get things done by overcoming obstacles and challenges * Ability to lead our customers in defining requirements. * Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Excellent teamwork skills across all disciplines in the company (Sales, Marketing, Engineering, QA, etc) * Must be able to travel up to 20% of the time.
