SAP Fieldglass is looking for experienced and motivated technologists who possess a unique balance of technical depth and strong interpersonal skills. You will partner with Development, Information Technology, and Quality Assurance to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud networks that run Sap Fieldglass platforms on all Major Cloud Providers (AWS, AZURE, and Alibaba). As a trusted Technology advocate, the Cloud Network Engineer will help organizations understand best practices around advanced cloud-based network solutions, and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud. You will need to be comfortable interfacing with various infrastructure components and always considering how best to deliver in a rapidly iterative fashion with a strong focus on service availability, scalability and resilience. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in cloud infrastructure. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges faced by a multi-National Organization.

* As a key member of the Technology team you will ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services to the cloud. * Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to employees. * Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the Fieldglass Engineers. * Act as a technical liaison between IT, QA, and Development for all cloud network designs. * Seek out solutions that protect open source and PAAS cloud based container technologies.

The ideal candidate will have experience working as a network engineer. You will enjoy keeping your existing technical skills honed and developing new ones, so you can make strong contributions to deep architecture discussions around networking as it pertains to Cloud services. You will regularly take part in deep-dive education and design exercises to create world-class solutions built on public cloud vendors. * 3+ years design & implementation experience with distributed applications * · 1+ years’ experience in cloud infrastructure and Networking * Capable of designing cloud based networks on top of AZURE, AWS, and Alibaba frameworks. * Understanding of Linux platforms such as SUSE, coreos, alpine, and photon. * Understanding of cloud based micro-services that utilize Kubernetes, Service Fabric, and swarm * Past experience with one of the major cloud providers (IAAS, PAAS on AWS, AZURE, or Alibiba) * Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies * Working knowledge of programming languages * Excellent communication skills with an ability to right level conversations * Technical degree required; Computer Science or Math background desired * Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly * Understands impact of Technical Debt involved with DevOps, and NoOps * Understand how to strategically protect agile platforms with containers and other born in the cloud toolsets. * · Scripting skills in Python, JavaScript, and PowerShell **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with “on premise to cloud” migrations or IT transformations * Experience with Hybrid “on premise to cloud” and “cloud to cloud” * Experience developing network solutions built on AWS, AZURE, and Alibaba * Capable of seeing success in all cloud platforms.
