We have an multiple pharmacies in and around the Salt Lake City, UT area for: Per Diem Retail shifts, Long Term Care Pharmacies, and PBM Pharmacy Technicians opening.

* Receiving written prescription or refill requests and verify that information is complete and accurate * Establishing or maintaining patient profiles, including lists of medications taken by individual patients * Maintaining proper storage and security conditions for drugs * Answering telephones, responding to questions or requests * Pre-packing bulk medicines, filling bottles with prescribed medications, and typing and affixing labels. * Cleaning and helping to maintain equipment or work areas according to prescribed methods * Assisting customers by answering simple questions, locating items, or referring them to the pharmacist for medication information * Receiving and storing incoming supplies, verifying quantities against invoices, checking for outdated medications in current inventory, and informing supervisors of stock needs and shortages * Enter and document coverage determination request decision into the PBM system and notify providers and/or members * Respond to client inquiries regarding authorization approvals and PBM on-line applications * Work with and communicate with Physicians, Insurance Companies, and Members to work through appeals, denials and third party rejects. * Go through claim adjudication, denials, approvals, third party rejects * Work with Pharmacist to find a medication that is approved by insurance.

* Area: Ability to work in the Salt Lake City, UT area * Licensure requirements: Must have valid, open and active Utah Pharmacy Technician license * Education: High School Diploma or equivalent * Years of experience: 0-6 months of recent pharmacy experience within a Mail Order, Retail, PBM, or a Long Term Care setting * Schedule: Varies * Pay: Depending On Experience * Background/drug requirements: Ability to successfully complete background check, client health screening criteria and drug screen
