Summary
Manage and coordinate multiple business and technical projects of moderate to large scope and complexity through all phases of initiation, development and implementation.
Responsibilities
* Work with internal and external clients to define and manage the scope, strategy, requirements and implementation of projects * Negotiate with and manage external vendors * Insure that assigned projects are completed within budgets and schedules while meeting business objectives * Identify, analyze, mitigate, document and control project risks * Develop and deliver budgets * Provide effective and regular communication within the project team, stakeholders, sponsors and management * Manage client and team expectations and relationships * Identify resource needs for the project and establish roles, expectations and goals with team members * Other duties that may be assigned from time to time from management as business conditions change
Ideal Candidate
* College degree preferred * 5+ years of project management experience * Strong understanding of the project cycle and methodologies through project management courses and practical business experience * Strong planning, influencing and people management skills * Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency skills, in particular Microsoft Office suite * Demonstrated ability to be flexible/adaptable in exercising judgement in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities * Above average proficiency in presentation and business level communication skills * Highly developed relationship building, negotiation, organizational and facilitation skills * Effective coaching and team management skills **Physical Demands and Work Environment:** * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to regularly sit, hear, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. * The work environment characteristics described are representative of those employees performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually * moderate to loud. Some travel may be required (up to 25%).
