Responsibilities
- You will triage, communicate status, and drive resolution for issues with the iDine.com website, our partner websites, APIs, as well as the tools and backend systems that support our entire Dining Rewards Program - You will help automate both deployments and configuration management using tools like Chef and Team City - You will carry out root cause analysis of incidents and provide developers with the necessary analysis to fix production defects - Supporting the business and the Agile Development teams, you will assist with their functional understanding of the production system as it works - Working regularly with the Development Team, you will learn how to debug existing software and help offload developer support responsibilities - You will participate in an on-call rotation
Ideal Candidate
- We’re flexible! Take your pick: you have a BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field or you have at least 5 years of IT experience - You have at least 3 years of experience supporting internet applications either as a developer or a support engineer. - You have a working understanding of lHTML5, Java, CSS, XML, JSON and REST - You can a demonstrate a good working knowledge of SQL and/or a scripting language like Ruby or Python - Extra points for experience working with: - Linux Administration - Tomcat web application server - Chef - Team City - ETL tools such as Informatica - Report-building tools like MicroStrategy - Salesforce.com - Your excellent communication skills and passion for working with software make you a customer service superstar
