Manages and directs production activities in a food manufacturing plant.

• Manages production operations at a food manufacturing plant.
• Responsible for production plant policies, procedures, operations, and standardization.
• Collaborates with production managers to drive production initiatives supporting company objectives.
• Manages the increased accuracy, efficiency, and responsiveness of production operations.
• Manages production plant cost monitoring and reduction programs.
• Communicates with complimentary departments to determine and process production needs.
• Drives production strategies to reduce product waste.
• Follows company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Maintains 24/7 proximity to the plant.
• Regular attendance and punctuality is required due to working with people, items and equipment that are at the facility

• Requires 5 years of production management or manufacturing management experience.
• Associate Degree in Business or a related field is required. Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Basic PC skills are required.
• English/Spanish Bilingual is a plus.
