Summary
Supply Chain team is looking for a driven-like-no-other Senior Quality Manager. You will be responsible for monitoring, and continuously improving, the consistency and quality of our portfolio of lifestyle products (now well over 50, with three launched just this past month!). Yes, that means no ripped duvet covers! Based in our San Francisco office you will have the exciting opportunity to develop and design quality metrics and serve as a distinguished ambassador between Redbubble and our vast network of third party on-demand printing partners.
Responsibilities
* Maintain an uncommonly strong business relationship with both our on-demand printing network of partners and our quality assessor vendors * Ensure that Redbubble products are fit for purpose, consistently, and that they meet both external and internal requirements, balancing legal compliance and customer expectation * Develop and coordinate the activities required to meet high quality standards, including high-stakes negotiations and detailed partnership agreements * Monitor and advise on the performance of the quality management system by producing routine data and analysis on performance, including detailed dashboards * Partner with vendor management and physical product team to establish quality requirements from external suppliers * Ensure all manufacturing and production processes meet standards * Develop and scale creative methods of reducing waste and increasing efficiency * Design effective compliance by maintaining controls and documentation procedures * Recommend necessary changes and improvements and how to implement within strategic roadmap * Serve as the team guru with respect to relevant quality tools, coaching others on ways to improve the business
Ideal Candidate
**You Are:** * Creative and can easily find ways to optimize and streamline * A builder, and aren’t shy in situations when you need to develop systems from the ground up * Extremely collaborative and charismatic -- with your peers and your partners * A firm negotiator who can play good and bad cop, authentically * Able to see both the micro and macro perspective in every decision you make * Someone who brings a level-headed sense of maturity to every conversation **What You’ll Bring to the Bubble** * 5-10 years experience in Quality in a retail environment (apparel, garment, textile, printing) * Previous experience in e-commerce, preferably print-on-demand * An ability to travel (expected 20% or more during peak season) * BA/Business degree, MBA a bonus but not required
