Risk Analyst/Associate

• Conduct borrower risk rating reviews across multiple municipal sectors, according to internal rating criteria.
• Adjudicate credit requests related to loan and derivative transactions across municipal sectors.
• Review transaction-related documentation and assess for credit risk implications.
• Monitor and manage credit risk related to the exposure incurred in certain industries within the U.S. Public Sector portfolio.
• Develop familiarity with regulatory and internal policies and protocols to contribute to departmental and institutional compliance.
• Advise and guide internal partners regarding risk profiles of various borrowers.

Must-have

• Undergraduate degree, preferably in economics or finance
• At least two years of relevant experience
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills
• Competency with Microsoft business software, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Nice-to-have

• Graduate degree in relevant discipline and/or CFA
• Risk management or municipal experience
