Raymour & Flanigan is seeking a talented individual to join our Transportation Leadership Team. This is an Overnight Supervisory position. Some weekends and holidays may be required based on needs of the business. This position is based on our Liverpool, NY campus.

A Transportation Supervisor is responsible for providing our team of Class A Tractor Trailer drivers with the tools and information that they need to be successful each day.

• Dispatching the drivers to various Raymour & Flanigan locations in the Northeast with clear and concise instructions
• Creating work schedules
• Writing and presenting yearly reviews and merit increases
• Praising and counseling an associate
• Setting up and conducting quarterly safety meetings
• Safety training
• Interviewing and hiring drivers for any open positions
• Payroll input and review
• Conduct various internal audits
• Assist in departmental vacation coverage
• Perform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of management

Qualifications for this position include:

• Previous Supervisory Experience is required.
• Knowledge of Federal DOT Regulations
• Dispatch and Knowledge of tandem trailer operations is a plus
• Computer experience must include Microsoft Excel and Outlook Express
