EDI System Architect must have the ability to work independently toward meeting project deadlines and satisfy multiple requests simultaneously. A strong background ALL areas of IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (B2Bi) is required. Must have the ability to work across all levels of the organization toward gathering a complete list of requirements and build the Architectural Solution within the Sterling Integrator Platform.

* Responsible for the design and operation of the systems which support B2B applications * Build interfaces for applications and trading partners * Strategically plans for the future as systems solutions are developed and designed * Provides technical vision when designing and developing new and innovative solutions * Drives quality while striving for zero defects * Drives quality control on all implementations * Drives projects through full development lifecycle * Focuses on closure and successful completions of deliverables * Troubleshoots and resolves system problems * Develops complete and accurate technical specifications from IS Business Team supplied business rules * Provides accurate estimates to proposed solutions and is accountable for same

**B2Bi Application Architecture** * IBM Sterling Integrator 5.x * 5-10 years of experience in Architectural Solutions within a B2B environment * Expert level B2Bi BPML and GPM to create Business Processes * Expert level of Framework Design within the B2Bi platform * Expert level of System Administration of the B2Bi platform * Expert level of System Installation for the entire B2Bi suite of products * System Administrator of the B2Bi platform **Sterling File Gateway (SFG)** * Expert Level of Sterling File Gateway (SFG) * Complete System Install Capabilities * Configuration of Routes and Channels * Ability to Tie in SFG and B2Bi Framework * Install adapters and connect to external applications * Mailbox setups * Build Automated System Archiving Functionality **Extensive knowledge of the Sterling Integrator Map Editor** * Extended Rules * Xpath statements * Creation of new maps from scratch * Creation and maintenance of Data Definition Formats * Debugging * Translation reports **Other Key Attributes** * Extensive knowledge of ANSI X12 EDI and HIPAA standards * Extensive Knowledge of all Communication Protocols * Knowledge of Linux and the ability to navigate/execute common Linux commands * Knowledge of networking and basic firewall configuration * Basic knowledge of MySQL database configuration * Security expertise: load balancer, firewalls, port translation, authentication methods, SSL, perimeter servers, proxy servers, etc.. * Unit Testing to produce positive results according to mapping specifications * End to End Testing and working directly with Trading Partners * Ability to Communicate across all levels of the organization * Ability to lead projects and meet project deadlines
