Front-End Developer

PureWow is a rapidly growing digital media company that delivers women's lifestyle content to elevate the everyday. We're seeking a Front-end Developer that has a minimum of 2 years experience (in the workforce, looking for someone with 4+ years of coding experience). This candidate should be a self-starter, with an entrepreneurial spirit who understands the digital publishing space, is an expert in HTML/CSS and knowledgeable in Javascript and jQuery. The role requires a strong attention to detail, an appreciation of design, and an understanding for UX/UI.

• Collaborate with operations, editorial, design & production teams during conception/ideation phrase to create the framework of the design to ensure it makes sense & will function flawlessly.
• Responsible for writing front-end code for all custom destinations/microsites under tight deadlines.
• Responsible for writing code for all website enhancements/iterations.
• Collaborate with remote backend dev team to ensure all systems are in-sync and launches (custom ad campaigns, website/product enhancements, production) are executed in an efficient & timely manner.
• All web front-end related work cross-platform: desktop, mobile, tablets and HTML5 responsive design

• Minimum 2 year experience in a front-end position
• Expert understanding of CSS and HTML5
• Proficient in JavaScript & jQuery
• Experience in UX/UI is a plus
• Proficient with cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility
• Knowledgeable and fluent-in responsive design (across desktop, tablet & mobile)
• A passion for front-end development, and beautiful, concise, organized code. We want you to own the front-end domain
• Intermediate level of Photoshop
