Technical Program Manager

Pure Storage is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects and releases from conception through release. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You’ll be exercising independent judgment and developing recommendations that translate into a course of action.

* Manage complex technical projects or programs, develop and manage milestones, schedules and budgets. * Interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels. * Manage and improve existing product development and hardware release processes. * Collaborate with software teams to ensure full product integration is achieved. * Use exceptional communication skills to understand and communicate project strategy, engineering issues and dependencies. * Manage risks/issues and develop mitigation strategies among a cross-functional team of engineers.

* Technical aptitude, as evidenced by BS CS/EE, or related experience in technical/quantitative fields - or equivalent practical experience. * 5-10 years experience in project management in hardware product release. * Strong customer service focus, with the ability to communicate with highly technical management teams. * Demonstrated team player and creative thinker who is able to lead technical teams, cross functional groups and vendors against plans. * Strong organizational, project management, communication skills and product lifecycle knowledge. * Ability to manage competing priorities without loss of efficiency.
