Summary
We are looking for an experienced digital analytics professional to join our Marketing Analytics team. Senior Manager of Marketing Analytics is responsible for supporting Prosper’s borrower acquisition by building demand forecast models, providing analytical insights to explain performance against business goals, and collaborating with marketing channel owners to drive business growth. The ideal candidate has deep analytical experience in website analytics, conversion funnel optimization, demand planning and forecasting, and developing segmentation and marketing attribution models. This person is adept at dealing with ambiguity and comes up with creative and rigorous analytical solutions to address business needs. Above all you are passionate about leveraging data to drive decision making and will proactively seek opportunities to achieve business results. This individual will report to the Director of Marketing Analytics and is a leadership role with the opportunity to shape the vision of Marketing Analytics and influence key business initiatives at Prosper.
Responsibilities
* Influence key decisions across online marketing programs through robust data analysis, distilling and presenting actionable insights. * Forecast traffic, conversion, and revenue based on marketing program variables, historical trends, projected funnel performance, and product technology initiatives. * Present and share forecast guidance to stakeholders including marketing managers, business leads and the CMO. * Partner with the BI team to establish dashboards and automated reports with KPIs to support data-driven business decisions. * Partner with marketing managers, product and engineering teams identify and drive growth initiatives. * Create optimal test designs to help quantify the performance of marketing initiatives. * Deliver ad hoc analyses in support of major business decisions and translate those analyses into actionable recommendations.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s Degree in STEM or other quantitative field; Masters preferred. * 8+ of years of analytics experience in a consulting, financial services or e-commerce businesses. * Strong SQL experience. Must know how to manipulate data and write complex joins. * Must have previous experience with front end data visualization tools like Tableau, Qlikview, Periscope etc. * Advanced proficiency in extracting and deriving insights using tagging tools like Omniture, and Google Analytics. * Advanced Excel skills. * Business understanding of hypotheses testing and design of experiments. * Outstanding communicator; able to deliver complicated and/or difficult messages in ways that work. * Must be able to set and manage expectations with diverse stakeholders and capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic, start-up environment. * Proven track record of leveraging data to drive business results.
