Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst on our Analytics team, you will help crack complex problems that assist our healthcare industry customers improve the healthcare system here in the United States. You will work closely with customer data, our proprietary data sets and our research expertise to uncover insights for our customers to reduce cost and improve patient outcomes.

* **Analysis:** The Data Analyst will develop and monitor metrics related to customer data, Procured Health data sets and research expertise. They will continue to explore new ways of analyzing, organizing and distributing data to customer audiences. They will help us develop new features for our existing analytics products and also contribute to the development of new analytics products. * **Database Management:** The data analyst will manage and improve our proprietary database. They will help manage our existing MySQL databases and assist or lead in integrating new sources of data. They may be responsible for cross-training other team members in the management and maintenance of existing databases.

* You’ve received (or will receive in less than a semester) your Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Physics or other quantitative field * 1+ years experience in a healthcare or data analytics role preferred but not required * High degree of competence and comfort using MS Excel and basic familiarity with relational databases like MySQL * Distinctive problem solving and/or project management skills * You are a patient, personable and open-minded individual with a high level of maturity and excellent discretion * A demonstrated track record for accomplishing goals and meeting deadlines * You hold yourself and others to a high standard * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Excellent attention to detail, strong prioritization skills
