Inspector A

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC, or the Company), a worldwide manufacturer of complex metal components and products, provides high-quality investment castings, forgings, fasteners/fastener systems and aerostructures for critical aerospace and power generation applications.

The inspector A is responsible for performing final and in-inspection to aerospace parts against a customer’s or internal blue print.

• High School Diploma. Or GED
• Certificate of Inspection Curriculum complete is a plus but not required
• 1-2 years of experience performing final and in-process inspection
• Operate forklift regularly with 20’ long bars safely
• Operate overhead crane
• Ability read GD&T and ANSI blue prints
• Ability to read and use measuring tools (tape, Dial Calipers, I.D., Mic, Height Gage, Radius Gage, Veneer Calipers, etc)
• Must have computer skills
• Accuracy & attention to detail
• Able to keep up in a fast paced environment
• Ability to read, understand directions on work instructions, and complete paperwork as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Assist in keeping the equipment and working are clean on a daily basis
• Strong Math skills (Algebra, Trigonometry)
• Experience operating the FARO Arm is a plus but not required
• Available to work daily and weekend overtime.
