Registered Nurse ICU Open Heart

* Provide patient and family education and discharge planning. * Recognize and respond to changes in a patient’s condition. * Provide assessment and care of the pre-op, intra procedure and phase II recovery endoscopy patient * Demonstrate knowledge of normal anatomy and physiology for child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient * Provide safe medication administration including use of venous access devises. * Demonstrates proficiency in IV insertion. * Competent in Moderate Sedation administration * Demonstrates ability to utilize and troubleshoot all equipment required for procedures. * Assists physician with endoscopic and outpatient procedures using aseptic technique. * Utilizes all computer systems required for job function

* NH Nursing License or compact state * ACLS or BLS * Associates Degree required, Bachelor's preferred * At least 1 year of experience in an ICU as a RN * Full-time, .9 position
