Summary
Planet Interactive is in search of a full time, contract Digital Project Manager for one of the biggest Biotechnology companies in the United States. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, as well as the ability to handle a high degree of strategic thinking. The person in this role must be willing to learn and improve as project manager while always looking to bring something new and helpful to the team. If you have 5+ years experience with agile project management around Web development and operational projects.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the planning of all Adobe Experience Manager Development, QA and Operations activities including: sprint planning, release planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews and retrospectives. * Create, maintain, and organize backlog of features, epics, stories, issues and tasks. * Support regular release cycles by facilitating planning meetings and organizing and monitoring eligible release candidates. * Provide input to release planning using team capacity(s) and available skill sets. Regularly analyze key metrics impacting the performance of the team and produce and share status reports that highlight any issues / blockers. * Engage with business groups to help plan and remove obstacles to his or her teams on being able to deliver on stated project goals. * Ensure that projects and stories are properly scoped, sized, and prioritized. * Work to identify blocked or stalled projects and influences the respective teams to help resolve any issues.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree * Minimum of 5+ years of experience managing resources and schedules as well as working as a liaison across different teams in web development * Scrum Master Certification (CSM) and/or PMP Certification desired * Experience with with Adobe Experience Manager at a PM or technical level * Experience using Agile performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement. * Experience with scheduling, budgeting, resource planning * Excellent working knowledge of Jira and Confluence * Agile project management experience
