Summary
The Sr. Product Manager, US Marketing will support the development and execution of a wide range of strategic, promotional and disease tactics/activities for IMBRUVICA. This position will require the development and execution of novel programs that help patients and practitioners achieve their treatment goals. The Senior Manager will need to demonstrate successful execution of both personal and non-personal promotional programs and tactics. Responsibilities
* Leading tactical execution of various marketing initiatives * Developing promotional and or disease state campaigns, messages, programs and sales tools * Coordinating the work of multiple external vendors and internal departments including marketing, market research, legal, regulatory, medical affairs, segment marketing, corporate compliance, consumer marketing and IT * Leading projects through the legal, regulatory, and medical review process * Managing program budgets and developing metrics to ensure success of the programs * Helping to guide and shape brand strategic decisions through research and experience * Engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL’s) as needed to ensure creation and seamless roll out of high impact, high value marketing tools * Collaborate with sales training to ensure effective, impactful, world class training on promotional tools and programs * Executive updates: preparing and presenting work and findings on a regular basis * Lead promotional activities at key congresses and tradeshows
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelors Degree or equivalent with an advanced marketing education; MBA preferred * A minimum of 3 years of experience in developing, executing, and measuring marketing campaigns for specialty products or significant experience promoting Oncology or Hematology/Oncology products * Demonstrated track record of increasing responsibility within sales and marketing; sales experience preferred * Experience with a subpart H US product launch is preferred * Demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to think strategically and solve problems * Proven ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally to drive business results in a fast-paced environment * Strong leadership and ability to drive influence across stakeholders to set direction, align work efforts, and ensure outstanding execution * Experience working closely with field sales organizations to implement marketing programs with measurable business impact * Outstanding project management and budget management skills * Experience managing multiple vendors and agency partners * Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities * Strong understanding of legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions, pharma industry guidelines, and other compliance-related issues * Strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills * Experience with the management of budgets and vendors * Ability to translate strategic vision into tactical action, identify the highest impact ideas and plans and focus efforts by resource allocation * Ability to assess risks and benefits to make timely, sound decisions with various levels of information, and accept responsibly for meeting and/ or exceeding objectives * Excellent oral, written and presentation skills * Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time
