Responsibilities
* Perform pre-funding and post-funding audits on FHA, VA, USDA and conventional loans to determine if loan met applicable guidelines * Audit early payment default files to determine if loan met applicable guidelines and levels of risk were properly analyzed * Ability to present results of reviews in written format * Analyze audit findings for trends and produce scheduled quality control reports and make recommendations as to appropriate corrective action
Ideal Candidate
* Knowledge of federal regulations * 4+ years residential mortgage regulation and guideline experience * Core understanding of loan process * Strong quality control and/or underwriting experience * High School diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written * Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with various levels within the organization * Ability to demonstrate excellent detail orientation, critical thinking and analytical skills * Ability to meet deadlines * Demonstrated judgment and decision making ability * Displays excellent time management, organizational and problem-solving skills * Strong customer service orientation * Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines * Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
