Summary
The Mortgage Loan Analyst will oversee the origination, file management, pipeline management, communication, and revenue of the Loan Officer (LO) and Team. This position will be in direct communication with Borrowers, Realtors, Attorneys, Builders, and Business Partners. This position requires time management, precise verbal and written communication, and have working knowledge of all major investors and their guidelines.
Responsibilities
* Assist LO with face-to-face application meeting with borrowers when LO cannot * Concisely take and/or review all loan applications and send needs list to borrower(s) * Call/Email borrower(s) if needed items are not received * Update the referral source every time contact is made with the borrower(s) on pre-approvals and insert notes in Encompass * Issue “Pre-Approval Scenario” guide to Real Estate Agent * Give a courtesy call to referral source after Pre-Approval is issued * Pre-Underwrite the file with DU/LP findings * Thoroughly review all documents to ensure accuracy in the loan application * Review all internal updates on guideline changes that come out during the week * Gain the confidence of all borrowers and business partners by the depth of your loan knowledge, * Accuracy, and communication skills * Pass organized and thorough applications to the Loan Processor * New contracts: Contact all Third Parties (Agents and Attorney’s) for greeting/update * Complete File Contacts section and deadline dates (contingency and closing date) * Email team the contingency and closing dates in Outlook calendar * Build rapport with all borrowers and business partners * Attend closing if LO cannot, when needed FI * Manage pipeline * Attend team meetings * Submit concise loan application to Processing Team
Ideal Candidate
* Minimum of two years processing experience required * Ability to work independently with minimum supervision * Must be a team-player * Strong PC skills; must be able to complete data entry with exceptional accuracy * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Solid attention to detail * Must be proactive and reliable * Ability to multitask and effectively manage time * Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals * Promote a positive team work environment through the sharing of knowledge and skills * Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures
