Technical Project Manager, DevOps

Perfect Sense is seeking a Technical Project Manager to manage the day-to-day projects, planning, and client interaction that keeps this critical team on track. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, precise, a great communicator, and passionate about making our clients successful. **Team Management** * Plan and conduct weekly meetings * Enter and scrub Jira tickets for Operational work * Maintain install/launch calendar, on-call calendar, moratoriums * Provide incident management support for on-call team (Escalation tier) **External Operational Management** * Host regular meetings with cloud services partners (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Rackspace) * Evaluate and manage relationships with other third-party service providers * Handle questions and first-level explanation for hosting and operations sales to new clients * Assist non-technical clients with operational tasks in their company (DNS records, SSL certificates, etc) * Provide and maintain escalation support information for clients based on their product/environment needs. **Internal Operational Management** * Quarterly review security policies and systems * Work with product managers to understand and plan upcoming work * Work with architect to understand and plan upcoming work * Build and maintain launch plans for new sites and major changes to existing sites * Maintain current operating specifications and other operations documentation * Review and analyze costs associated with AWS, Rackspace and other providers to prevent cost overruns. * Provide first-level operational support to developers and qa looking for assistance with environments and tools * Maintain statistics around Operational functions (availability, tickets, pages, etc) **System Administration Work** * Set up new LDAP accounts * Set up/manage SES accounts in AWS * Build or modify lower environments using our tools * Build or modify screens in monitoring and log analysis systems * Create CSRs and SSL certificates

* Bachelor’s degree * 5+ years experience as a Project/Program Manager, including delivering enterprise-scale web applications or analytics implementations. * Prior experience supporting systems operations, network operations center, or Web operations organizations * Demonstrated ability to multi-task with multiple teams in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities * Maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence skills, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills. * Successful experience in a matrixed or shared services environment
