Director of Product Management Identity

The Identity Platform processes billions of requests each month, and enables PayPal and its partners to rapidly innovate on new payment scenarios and enable new experiences. Therefore, the evolution of the Identity Platform is integral to PayPal’s long-term strategy.

* Define and deliver a product roadmap that supports your internal and external business partners. * Serve as an internal catalyst for mobilizing cross-functional teams to adopt new ideas and strategies around identity. * Work in collaboration with product, program and technology leaders to guide the three-year strategic plan for Identity Platform pinpointing new platform requirements, features, tools and policies. * Leverage PayPal’s global payments and identity capabilities to facilitate new product solutions for key strategic partners and as well as new business models to drive growth and engagement. * Manage a talented team of technical product managers through the entire software development lifecycle using a variety of methodologies including scrum/agile processes. * Ensure your team delivers high quality requirements/User stories that capture an impactful scope of work that can be delivered on time, and with quality.

**To be successful in this role, you will:** * Be expert in all areas regarding your products to include the customers, market, technology, competition, analysts, trends and anything else that needs to be considered. * Have strong technical background having grown up through the software engineering roles then morphed into a Product Manager. * Have proven ability in being the primary business and technical product interface and central point of coordination in the definition and execution of products through their lifecycle. * Be a champion of analytics using data to inform your decisions but not drive decisions. * Contain an in-depth understanding of the macro landscape including the various types of product offerings in the market and key players. * Possess some experience with Identity management technologies such as SAML and OAuth and OpenStandards like OpenID and FIDO. * Be a strong leader with ability to challenge and grow a healthy senior product management team working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. **Requirements:** * A global perspective to the role, with a strong understanding of the digital identity and payments landscape including a baseline familiarity with consumer and social platforms and mobile technologies. * 5-7 years experience building and managing product teams that design and deliver enterprise-level product platforms. * Demonstrated success in working within cross functional teams and effective and analytical/decision-making skills. * Ability to lead decision making conversations about ownership, funding, creating, managing and maintaining shared services. * Direct experience working with product, technology and standards committees on product platforms, strategic planning and new business opportunities. * Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a position with rigorous business, strategy, and/or financial training **Required Education:** * BSc. or Bachelor Engineering/Computer Science * Advanced technical degree, MBA or equivalent
