Summary
We have a terrific opportunity for a Project Manager to work at Pandora in Oakland. This role is focused on the delivery and execution of brand programs, social campaigns, and brand advertising for Pandora. The right individual will be responsible for managing the project workflow from brief to execution and partnering with other teams - keeping audio, visual design and creative development teams on-track and on-time with all of their tasks and deliverables. Ideally, this person would also be able to help “cast” creatives and designers to on projects by understanding the skill set of each member of the team. This Project Manager will be a key contributor and will multi-task, problem solve, work well with all teams, anticipate and solve strategic and creative problems, manage timelines, and think outside the box. We are looking for someone who knows how to navigate and support our desire to handle a lot of work and keep things fun, innovative and fluid.
Responsibilities
* Manage projects from brief phase through launch * Oversee and troubleshoot any potential problems within our Creative and Design team, and cross-functional teams * Understand and manage agreed-upon scope of project from concept to delivery * Progressive, organized communication and process emphasizing transparency, collaboration, and shared goals * Work collaboratively with Video, Audio, Design, and Development teams * Create, manage, and actively adjust project plans that set firm and realistic deadlines for each phase of the project * Prepare weekly / daily / as needed status updates to all team members – high transparency and accountability expected * Help troubleshoot conflicts in terms of priorities and tasks, resources, and/or requirements * Creative problem solving – technical experience and background in digital advertising, social and/or traditional advertising would be relevant * Consistently deliver on existing processes and perpetually be improving upon them * Track and utilize campaign insights and recommendations during and post-campaign, so we are always taking lessons forward
Ideal Candidate
* 5-7 years of experience in a Digital Production or Project Management role working for an advertising agency or in the digital advertising industry or other creative field * Experience managing creative projects and ensuring successful delivery for all parties involved * Cool under pressure, meets challenges bravely * Outstanding collaboration skills with a proven ability to work cross-functionally in order to establish and meet shared organizational goals * Strong understanding of advertising on all digital platforms, web, mobile, tablet * Strong understanding of balancing User Experience on Pandora * Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience
