Cost Accountant

* Responsible for variance analysis of capitalized raw material, production, labor and overhead. * Monitor, analyze and report on company’s raw material rebates. * All areas of standard costing, including development of raw material standards, conversion costs and reconciliation between standard and actual. * Responsible for inventory accounting. * Monitor the numerous facilities activity. * Miscellaneous month end journal entries * Balance Sheet Account reconciliations on Blackline software * Inter company true up entries * Inventory and reserve schedules

* BA/BS in Finance or Accounting concentration, CPA/MBA desirable. * 3+ years experience progressive experience in cost accounting and/or plant accounting. * SAP and/or Oracle experience in a manufacturing environment. * Strong computer skills with the ability to create spreadsheets, run data queries and manipulate. * GAAP knowledge related to Inventory and Cost of Sales. * Working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards. * Effective verbal communication and technical writing skills * Detail oriented with ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
