Information Technology Engineer

Outbrain is seeking a talented IT Engineer, who loves technology and troubleshooting complex problems in a challenging environment, to work in the Information Technology team at our New York City office.The IT Engineer will maintain server, network, and desktop infrastructure throughout Outbrain's corporate locations in the United States and around the world. The position includes providing day-to-day operational support, leading strategic IT projects, interacting with departments to identify and implement new technology solutions.

• Support Mac, Windows, and Linux desktop and laptop systems in multiple offices
• Maintain Linux servers and networking equipment
• Manage voice and video communications systems across all company locations
• Work with a global team to implement consistent IT standards, automate common procedures, and ensure high levels of security and availability
• Evaluate business requirements and design IT solutions to fulfill them
• Document existing systems and procedures

• BA/BS degree
• 3-5 years experience supporting multiple OS platforms in a geographically-distributed environment
• Strong LAN/WAN, security, and telecom skills
• Knowledge of server virtualization technologies such as VMware
