Summary
Responsible for developing and supporting business-changing enterprise solutions with .NET, SharePoint 2013 and other leading-edge technologies.
Responsibilities
* Design and develop portal content and applications that integrate with other enterprise systems and third party products. * Integrate non-SharePoint related services into SharePoint applications as directed. * Assist other developers, analysts, and designers in conceptualizing and developing web application solutions. * Provide application development and support expertise to end users and other members of the IT applications team. * Conduct research on emerging Web, SharePoint development tools and present findings to IT leadership team. * Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements and upgrades as directed for a variety of applications including, but not limited to enterprise wide applications. * Design and develop integration solutions between enterprise wide, custom built and other applications. * Provide end user support for off-the-shelf and in-house software packages. * Participate in software evaluations and selections. * Perform other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science or software engineering, and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and ability acquired through work experience. * Experience working with a variety of applications and technologies including SharePoint, .NET and SQL Server. * Experience in Web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). * Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. * Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing, with individuals at all levels and to develop successful relationships within an organization * Skilled at working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment. * Ability to present ideas and solutions in business-friendly and user-friendly language. * Highly self-motivated and self-directed. * Keen attention to detail.
