Summary
We are seeking a detail oriented, energetic, and proactive Human Resources Intern. The Human Resources Intern is responsible for assisting the Human Resources team with a variety of projects and day to day duties including recruiting, employee orientation, and any other miscellaneous tasks as they may arise. This will be a paid internship opportunity with a duration of 90 days. There is a possibility of extension based on the needs of the business.
Responsibilities
* Manage applicant tracking system with candidate status, sourcing and reporting needs * Schedule all phone and onsite interviews with recruiter and hiring managers * Create, post, and monitor all current job vacancies * Ensure all materials are prepared for upcoming meetings, interviews and orientation sessions * Assist in coordination of onboarding process for new hires * Coordinates various HR programs, activities and initiatives * Assist with other administrative duties related to Human Resources as required
Ideal Candidate
**Technical Skills You’ll Need:** * Advanced experience with Microsoft Office programs, particularly Outlook * Avid user of social networking tools **Soft Skills You’ll Need:** * Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Ability to work independently as a self-starter as well as be a team player * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to build relationships quickly * Must be able to juggle multiple projects and work well under deadlines * Ability to communicate effectively with employees of all levels across the business **Experience You’ll Bring:** * Previous Human Resources or Recruiting Internship experience desirable but not required * Education Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Public Relations or a related field **What successful candidates have in common:** * Aperture Group, owner of OptionsHouse, is a company where innovation is not just encouraged but required.
