We are currently seeking a Claim Customer Service Representative to join our team in Canton, MA. This is a full time position, and the hours are normally Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. We are looking for a candidate who can provide excellent call center support for high volume incoming claim inquiry calls from insureds, agents, claimants, and other parties.
- Fields phone calls from external customers related to claim processing issues and the reporting of losses.
- Accurate and timely data entry in multiple Microsoft based applications.
- Maintains professionalism and confidentiality with regard to all aspects of claim property damage, injury and other personal information.
- Performs various clerical duties under immediate supervisor and exercises independent judgment and decision making in accordance with specified policies and guidelines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Demonstrates attention to detail, accuracy and solid organizational skills. Previous experience with basic Microsoft computer applications required.
Education and Experience:
- The ideal candidate will have 1 – 3 years of customer service experience, preferably in an office environment; call center a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required.
