Data Science Intern

Omaze is a for-profit cause marketplace that is revolutionizing the philanthropic space. We serve world changers – all people who want to make a difference in the lives of others – by providing fun and easy ways to raise money for causes that have a positive and lasting impact around the globe.

We are seeking an all-star Data Science Intern. You will assist our Data Science team by preparing and analyzing large volumes of customer data to discover patterns from which the team can derive actionable product strategy.

• Your major is related to a quantitative discipline: Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, etc
• You are an expert in applied statistics, including regression models
• You are able to translate business objectives into actionable analyses
• You are able to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• You have expertise in at least one statistical software package, preferably R
• You are proficient in SQL
• You have advanced skills in a scripting language such as Python
• You are able to work in our office at least two days a week
