Software Engineer

Business operations are constantly shifting and evolving, the same is true for the data that represents them. This makes deciding how to store, display and query this information difficult. The solution: make software adapt to fit the data, even as new types and topologies become part of the structure. Oakleon is looking for talented developers to push this technology forward.

Oakleon needs a front-end engineer with fresh ideas about UI and UX to join our core team. Candidates must want to work in a start-up environment, be reliable and self-directed. This position will include working with React.js, React Native, iOS, Android and Chrome.

• A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or 5+ years of experience is required.
• Other important skills include experience with javascript, git, the command line, familiarity with immutable data structures and their costs and benefits. Some of the tools we use every day include Google Compute Engine, Docker, Git, Elasticsearch, Firebase, Javascript, Immutable.js, our custom data protocol and traversal framework.
