About Grammarly

Grammarly is a writing-enhancement platform developed by Grammarly, Inc., and launched in 2009. Grammarly's proofreading and plagiarism-detection capabilities check for a writer's adherence to more than 250 grammar rules.

Responsibilities
  • Create great user experiences in our browser-based applications for acquiring new users

  • Ensure availability and stability of the services backing our front-end and back-end applications

  • Propose and implement new features that will improve user experience and technical platform

  • See how your work is used across the browsers, devices, and platforms to draw new insights

Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of engineering experience

  • Ability to solve problems on the spot, think algorithmically and recursively

  • Proven algorithmic thinking and ability to debug complex distributed systems

  • Proven knowledge of any of the JavaScript frameworks (React, Backbone, Angular, NodeJS, etc.)

  • Solid understanding of the full web technology stack

  • Passion for UI/UX and empathy for users

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
