Summary
NinthDecimal is currently seeking a technical and strategic Senior User Experience Designer to join our Product Management team in San Francisco or Mountain View offices. The Senior User Experience Designer will be responsible for the user experience of NinthDecimal’s entire product line. We are looking for someone who is passionate about user experience design, with an exemplary portfolio and the enthusiasm to be a transformative part of a fast-growing company. This position will report directly to the SVP of Product.
Responsibilities
* Oversee user experience for NinthDecimal’s entire product line, with responsibility for designing elegant solutions to complex workflows * Work closely with Product Management and the UI Engineering team to design features that have a delightful and intuitive user experience * Act as the user-advocate during the development process, subjecting designs to usability testing and offering implementation suggestions from a user-centered perspective * Develop wireframes, behavioral specifications and personas * Initiate, suggest, and lead UI redesigns for a more intuitive user experience when necessary * Continually test and validate our user experience with the marketplace
Ideal Candidate
* 4+ years working in user experience design, interaction design, or information architecture roles * Experience designing SaaS products, with knowledge of how to utilize the latest design principles and leverage cutting-edge UI technologies to provide an optimal user experience * Highly creative, with a strong conceptualization ability * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Experience with user interface design patterns, standard UCD methodologies, and common user interface design tools * Understanding of the advertising technology ecosystem is desirable * Having visual design skills is a plus (but not necessary)
