Ad Operations Specialist

Nextdoor’s mission is to use the power of technology to build stronger and safer neighborhoods. We are an early-stage Internet company backed by Benchmark, Greylock Partners, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Tiger Global Management, as well as other investors and Silicon Valley angels. Our product is a private social network for neighborhoods where neighbors get to know one another, exchange advice, and communicate about local issues.

We are looking for an Ad Operations Specialist to help us flight and manage advertising campaigns on Nextdoor. Day-to-day functions include coordinating campaigns with advertising clients, building and trafficking sponsored posts, and troubleshooting issues/challenges as they surface. If you're great with people, insanely detail-oriented, a creative problem solver, and eager to learn more about advertising (or put your keen knowledge of ad platforms to use!), we want to hear from you.

• Build, flight, QA, and manage advertising campaigns on Nextdoor
• Serve as a day-to-day POC for advertisers
• Monitor and solve campaign-related issues
• Work closely with product management and engineering teams to provide feedback on campaigns and our ad platform
• Identify opportunities to implement solutions to improve the efficacy of our team and product
• Show flexibility and willingness to handle miscellaneous operational tasks and advertiser requests

• 1-3 years experience in ad operations, account management, project management, or other client-facing operational role
• High-level verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional organization and time management skills;
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume, and deadline-driven environment
• Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong background in copywriting or editing a plus
• Strong Excel and/or SQL skills a plus
• Experience trafficking/managing campaigns with a strong knowledge of ad platforms a huge plus.
