Manager - Privacy Engineering

* Be the engineering leader for all privacy matters across Netflix, working in tight partnership with our legal data protection, privacy and security team. * Ensure our engineering and analytical systems adhere to and enforce our privacy principles. * Serve as the privacy engineering subject matter expert for product designs, decisions, and implementations. * Have deep experience in software engineering and operations in the field of consumer Internet services. * Enjoy networking and building relationships, both inside and outside of Netflix * Be deeply interested in our Long Term View. We need to deliver value this month, and this quarter, but this problem domain will grow in scale and complexity over time. Figure out where Netflix needs to be in two years and identify how we get there incrementally, while managing and constraining technical debt and other decisions that, in the long run, will serve us poorly. * Be excited by Netflix's culture, and contributing to and growing it.

* BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science * Several years of privacy/data protection and security experience * Experience with code review, threat modeling, testing and privacy-focused design review of diverse and complex products and services
