Apps Product Manager

* Drive the definition of new features for the Nest app, being able to take into account hardware, design and infrastructure dependencies as well as customer needs * Manage tradeoffs involving features, schedule, cost * Manage the product backlog, taking on product ownership and working closely with the scrummaster for those teams working in scrum. * Develop and maintain the product roadmap. * Communicate product priorities across the organization * Define product positioning and key product messages * Gather product feedback from surveys, interviews and usability testing * Possess knowledge of competitive products and communicate and position the product in relation to other products and the competition

**Minimum qualifications** * 5+ years of product management experience having managed at least one entire product development cycle from concept to launch. * BS, CS degree or equivalent experience. **Preferred qualifications** * MBA preferred * Experience developing version 1.0 products * Experience with Scrum/Agile * Experience formulating product messaging and marketing * Love of the connected home market * Strong verbal and written communication skills
