Summary
Nationwide Credit is looking for individuals with strong backgrounds in sales, collections, or other occupations requiring heavy customer contact. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast paced environment as well as have the ability to produce results! Training is provided for both experienced and non experienced associates. This opportunity is ideal for the individual that is results orientated and has the passion and desire to exceed the standards. This position offers the successful candidate the ability to enjoy the security of a base salary, but appreciate the additional opportunity afforded by an exceptional incentive plan. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager and will solely be responsible for negotiating and processing payments under established department guidelines on the collection of past due accounts and delinquent balances through direct contact with customers via the telephone.
Responsibilities
* Accurately assess the consumer’s financial condition by conducting thorough inquiries. * Determine the reason for delinquency and find creative solutions to resolve the situation. * Tracks and maintain all customer accounts throughout the collection process ensuring prompt payment recovery of all outstanding balances. * Perform customer account maintenance activities to include account reviews, reconciling aging levels, verifying account balances, applying payments, monitoring collection activities, and updating accounts in compliance with established corporate policies and procedures. * Adhere to the State and Federal regulations pertaining to collection activities * Meet corporate standards for call quality assurance and structure *Key Result Areas:* * Achieve an average of 90% of key performance indicator goals (calls / RPC’s / promise kept rate) * Average quality assurance scores of 94% * Consistently achieve 90% of monthly revenue target

* Outgoing, assertive, competitive, persuasive * Enjoys dealing with the public * Possesses or is capable of acquiring superb negotiation skills * Is detail oriented and is able to accurately document information in our computer system while communicating with the consumer on the telephone * Is able to work a flexible schedule which may include weekends * Must have a high school diploma, some college preferred
