Key aspects of this role:The Worker's Compensation and Auto Liability Intern will:
- Prioritize, capture, and scrub data within Point system to enhance our ability to measure and track key cost containment initiatives.
- Identify processes for automating the future analysis of data for the Worker's Compensation and Liability departments.
- Assist with compiling specifications for trackers to create more automated reports necessary to measure a variety of current measurables that are "non-automated" and/or not captured within our claims system.
- Additional departmental projects as assigned.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program from a four-year college or university, pursuing a degree in Business/Economics, Marketing, or Mathematics/Statistics with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Anticipated graduation date ranging from Fall/Winter 2016- Spring 2017.
- Working knowledge of PC's including databases, word processing and spreadsheets.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, write reports and defend conclusions.
- Must be able to fulfill a ten week requirement beginning in May.
